Preliminary Task

From our preliminary task we learnt how to control camera work. We discovered many things that would have helped us in our main task such as, if filming outside we should do it in one day as it has a large impact on the type of shot it is and also the lighting may differ if the day is different. Not only that but we also learnt how to keep the 180 degrees rule which did prove to be quite difficult due to which we had to change our ending. This took a while to grasp and therefore we had to shoot on a different day and change the way we filmed. We later developed our skills on editing which was helpful as it gave us an insight of what to do in our main task. Overall the preliminary task proved to be useful as it not only showed us how hard decision making can be but also it helped us focus more as a group and give each other a particular duty.
