The decisions we took after the target research

We took a decision to use quota sampling instead of random sampling because we knew who our target audience was therefore it was just a question of only getting the questions down and giving it to people. We found this a lot easier as we wanted our age certificate to be of 15 so we knew what to base our questions around.

After doing the questionnaire we took the decision of having a psychological thriller as teenagers prefer to have an enigmatic storyline to do this we will also have a circular ending this means where the opening starts we would want to end our film at that point.

We decided to take advertise our adverts mainly on TV between programmes such as Skins, Hollyoaks etc… The ones teenagers mainly watch as they are our target audience. The target researched allowed us to cut down our ideas and come into a more specific result. It also allowed us to think precisely as some stuff our audience wouldn’t approve of.
